Trained Operator Passport Scheme. TOPS

Accredited forklift training now requires that all trained operators be registered by one governing body and registered on a national data base.

A registration fee of £7.50 per person will be added to the cost of training and will ensure that all certificated operators will be registered and receive a lifelong accredited forklift operator’s identity number.

Companies wishing to employ forklift truck operators can ask for this number as proof that the potential employee has received the correct standard of training as recognised by the HSE.
